THE SUPREME FACT OF HUMAN LIFE

From the great central fact of the universe in regard to which we have agreed, namely, this Spirit of Infinite Life that is back of all and from which all comes, we are led to inquire as to what is the great central fact in human life. From what has gone before, the question almost answers itself.

The great central fact in human life, in your life and in mine, is the coming into a conscious, vital realization of our oneness with this Infinite Life, and the opening of ourselves fully to this divine inflow. This is the great central fact in human life, for in this all else is included, all else follows in its train. In just the degree that we come into a conscious realization of our oneness with the Infinite Life, and open ourselves to this divine inflow, do we actualize in ourselves the qualities and powers of the Infinite Life.

And what does this mean? It means simply this: that we are recognizing our true identity, that we are bringing our lives into harmony with the same great laws and forces, and so opening

ourselves to the same great inspirations, as have all the prophets, seers, sages, and saviours in the world’s history, all men of truly great and mighty power. For in the degree that we come into this realization and connect ourselves with this Infinite Source, do we make it possible for the higher powers to play, to work, to manifest through us. (more…)

Be Still With God

by: Nancy B. Gibbs

All day long I had been very busy; picking up trash, cleaning bathrooms and scrubbing floors. My grown children were coming home for the weekend. I went grocery shopping and prepared for a barbecue supper, complete with ribs and chicken. I wanted everything to be perfect.

Suddenly, it dawned on me that I was dog-tired. I simply couldn’t work as long as I could when I was younger. “I’ve got to rest for a minute,” I told my husband, Roy, as I collapsed into my favorite rocking chair. Music was playing, my dog and cat were chasing each other and the telephone rang.

A scripture from Psalm 46 popped into my mind. “Be still, and know that I am God.” I realized that I hadn’t spent much time in prayer that day. Was I too busy to even utter a simple word of thanks to God? Suddenly, the thought of my beautiful patio came to mind. I can be quiet out there, I thought. I longed for a few minutes alone with God. (more…)

Finding God Within and Without

How do I find You God?

God is Love.
If you have ever loved,
If you have ever been loved,
You have experienced God
from Within and Without

God is Truth.
If you have ever told the truth,
If you have ever discovered Truth,
You have experienced God
from Within and Without

God is Beauty.
If you have ever helped to create something beautiful,
If you have ever witnessed beauty in any of it’s myriad forms,
You have experienced God
from Within and Without

God is Good.
If you have ever done or thought something good,
If you have ever recognized goodness in or through another,
You have experienced God
from Within and Without

All of those experiences, those gifts,
of Love, Truth, Beauty and Goodness
were directly from God through you. or to you.

Glad to Meet You God. let’s hang out together.

Life is a river flowing back to the Sea

If our experience as a human is analogous to a journey down a river, then our experience as a spirit is analogous to the entirewater cycle. Each of us is like a raindrop which fell from a cloud and ultimately entered into a river for the journey back from where it came – the sea. Then the cycle is repeated.

In the same way that a drop of water is a part of the sea and contains within itself the nature of the sea itself, so our spirit is a part of God containing within it the Whole of God itself. This concept of a something being both a part and the Whole is called in science terminology a fractal.

By becoming a droplet in the water cycle, we can experience wonderful adventures which ultimately help us to understand ourselves and the sea even more. Which river of life we choose to travel down is up to us. Once we begin the journey, we are partly at the mercy of the river and the course it takes us. How we chose to flow down the river is our decision.

This river which represents the course of our life that leads us back to God is an archetype that is familiar to us. Perhaps this is one of the reasons we feel drawn to rivers and why we regarded them as sacred. In ancient cultures, religions and even in near-death experiences, this archetype of life being a river appears. On the river, we are always moving forward from a source and toward an end. Life starts out as a small creek and grows into large river with rapids, forks, tributaries, rocks, and sometimes floods. Rivers have a history and are evolving. The river of life can take us to a variety of destinations on shore. There are many decisions and choices to make while traveling the river. Sometimes we have no choice at all but submit to the mercy of the river. At times we can relax and go with the flow. Other times we can shoot the rapids. We can row our boats gently down the stream. But if we just remain on the shore, we will never reach our destination and goal. Wisdom means knowing the best course of action to take as we travel down the river. (more…)

GRACE VS. WORKS

http://minigoodtale.blogspot.com/

Grace

Every flesh born child of God is saved with eternal grace. All will be given eternal life when resurrected. Sin has no eternal power. By God’s everlasting word of loveMatt 4:4 I prove it on this website using the King James Version. Will you hearActs 3:23 his Everlasting Gospel Rev 14:6 now delivered Rev 12:5Rev 12:13 to the whole world Matt 24:14 as a witness. If you will hear all this you will know all the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven. The Bible is the book of the knowledge of good and evil. The King James Version is the only version that has the keys to see true knowledge and understanding when reading it Gods way Isa 28:9-102 Tim 2:15. God’s way is taking scripture out of context precept on precept, line upon line, here a little and there a little. At the resurrection the dead will all be as the angels no matter what their sins were.
*Matt 22:29-30 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scripturesnor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven”.  (more…)

How Do I Know What Gods Will Is For My Life?

Knowing God’s Will – Insight from George Müller

When it came to knowing God’s will, George Müller (1805-1898), an English evangelist and philanthropist, was remarkably and humbly gifted. A man of faith and prayer, Müller established orphanages in Bristol and founded the Scriptural Knowledge Institution for Home and Abroad. The following are wonderful excerpts from one of his essays.
